NATALIE AUSTIN
As a special education consultant, I am a highly trained individual with specialized knowledge about disabilities and the educational process. I am dedicated to helping parents or guardians feel included and valued in the IEP/Section 504 process.
The ARD/IEP process can be very intimidating and emotionally draining. As a Certified Special Education Consultant, with 18+ years of hands-on experience in a Public School setting as a teacher then a Special Education Administrator, I can assist you in understanding your child’s rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), programming possibilities that are offered by your public/private school system and advocate for additional evaluations or additional assessments if needed. Let me assist you through the complexities of special education to develop an appropriate individualized education plan for your child.
Terri McNeese
This is my 39th year in education with the last 25 years focused on students identified with autism in various settings. I am experienced with students ranging from early childhood education to graduating seniors. My skills include setting up specialized classrooms and providing behavioral/instructional support to students in the general education and self-contained programs. Additionally, I am experienced with writing and reviewing specific IEP goals for students identified with autism. My years of experience will help your child receive the level of education that is most appropriate and beneficial for them.
Pamela Rand
I am excited to utilize my 39 years in education to assist families in receiving FAPE. The last 24 years was focused on advocating for students with challenges as well as those under the special education umbrella. During my leadership position, I was able to provide mentorship to students and staff and provide academic support through interventions. Additionally, I am able to build strong relationships with parents and various stake holders to ensure students' success.
Christie Lam
Education is the only profession where I can say every year is a new year! This coming school year will be my 19th year spent teaching and assisting students in various special education programs. My skills include collaborating with campus leaders and staff to provide appropriate assistive technology and resources that enable students to access general education curriculum. In addition, I also have experience with helping parents plan and prepare to transition their child to life after high school. I look forward to assisting your child with their educational journey.
